One of my favorite local fishing tournaments is the Ocean Pines Founder Pounder. This Saturday is the second occurrence of this annual event and last year it was a blast. First prize is $500 cash, plus more if you enter the Calcutta. Several local businesses are helping out in the event including Pines Point Provisions, a bait and tackle shop in the pines, and Paddle House Outfitters, a kayak store in west ocean city.
